The Qualities Of Time, Volume I
Contributions Towards A Modern Understanding Of How
The Cosmos Works In Man. Some Results of Objective Self-Observation
.

The first volume of this series, introducing all that follows, lays the groundwork for understanding experientially man’s relationship to the universe. The author, after years of exploration, determined that the cosmic realities within which we live are not of a purely physical nature, but exhibit moral and living qualities as well.

Through twelve contemplations the author artistically evokes the cosmic forces working in the zodiac and the struggles and potentials inherent in each zodiacal region. Included is an autobiographical section revealing the spiritual discoveries, and a scientific section in which the detailed findings are presented in extensive tables offering a firm foundation for this new approach to the stars by grounding it upon direct and empirical methods of research expanded to include superphysical phenomena.

Finally, there a section containing more than 120 pages of charts which intend to serve as a perpetual calendar to guide the reader on his own path of systematic self-exploration in relation to the living process of time. In the words of New Visions editor, Ed Treitler, “It is perhaps one of the most complete and spiritually aware interpretations, by a living scientist of our cosmic experience.”

The Qualities Of Time, Volume II
Affects of The Superphysical Forces Of the Universe
Upon The Individualized Superphysical Forces of Man

The second volume enters into the question of the human being’s individualized relationship to cosmic realities working in the present moment, by virtue of his/her particular birth configuration. It also introduces findings in relation to certain shorter rhythms (Hours of Solomon, 2-hourly rhythm, ascendant rhythm, etc.) of time. In the heart of this volume, we find eight artistic contemplations of the planetary spheres of experience. Again, the author does not suggest that we blindly accept his findings as dogma, but offer a practical guide towards aiding the reader in his or her own process of intensive, objective self-exploration.

The Qualities of Time: Volume III
Law of Hermes. Heart of Biography

This volume illustrates the Law of Hermes: the correspondence between 3.9 days during conception to one year of life after birth, as it is expressed through nine significant historical personalities: Jung, Emerson, Gandhi, Yogananda, Madame Curie, Albert Schweitzer, Rudolf Steiner, Thoreau and Henry Adams. It also points to a practical method of approaching one’s own biography with keen insight and living interpretive ability. Rather than drawing from sources of mythology or other imaginal traditions to stimulate a deeper experience of the Zodiac, this book “draws” its pictures from the life itself.

The Qualities of Time: Volume IV
Human Relationships In The Light Of Our Cosmic Experience

This volume introduces a new element into our preceding path of exploration: The Other. The book brings the reader into a livingly interaction between two human beings in the light of their participation in the “Dance of Cosmic Life.” Although this book presupposes a “working knowledge: of the three previous volumes, it stands on its own, as an eye opener into some the living dynamics that weave the fabric of our human relating. Its specific question is: How does our own living, mobile nature responsive to the living mobile universe come to grasp the living nature of another, who is perhaps “dancing to a different drummer?” A view into questions of karma, freedom and synastric theories set the background for this work.

The Qualities of Time: Volume V
The Earth

Why do most astrologer neglect the significance of the Earth itself at the time of birth? What does the “Earth” have to do with the “moral individuality” and “life purpose”? This volume offers an introduction to this question of The Earth. Drawing from hundreds of examples in his personal work with others and 50 or so well-known historical personalities, he tried to lead the interested reader to examine this cosmic indicator towards some of the mysteries of the “human will.” It is suggested that the reader of this book will have read at least the first volume of the series, or has some background in the language of astrology.
